So I got to school early this morning befor ethe computer labs, and I was trying to decide what to do. I thought to myself well certainly you can't do school work because you have so much of it to do that'd just be silly. Anyway, I picked up a copy of the Martlet to see if they had anything interesting to say. I happened upon a review of Alexander and I was so taken aback. The review was almost word for word the same as the one in the Sun. You know if you are going to write something at least use your own words, and be original. It is entirely too easy to condem a movie. As I read the critique I thought to myself, my god I could do a better job than this, who the hell are they hiring? Or who the hell have they assigned without paying them (lol)? I feel the same way about the guy who writes reviews for the Cowichan Leader, his reviews are sucky and I once overheard a conversation he was having with a grocery clerk. He was saying how difficult it was to write a review about Tarantino's Kill Bill. Um, how is that hard? There are so many things to talk about there, geez people come on!
