As of yesterday Amber and Mark are "officially" separated. Al and I are in such an awkward position. He sits there listening to Mark bitch about Amber and I sit there listening to vice versa.

I find one of my biggest personal dilemmas in life is the battle between complete honesty with friends, and telling them what they want to hear. I was honest with Susan and our friendship has survived, but I hurt her.

When I was on the phone with Amber I told her that I thought it was very important that she sit down with Mark at least once with a trained counselor before they call it quits completely. She got upset and started to cry. I feel better because there is no burden sitting on my chest, I am not repressing anything, but does it help Amber in anyway?

Anyway they are not divorcing yet, Amber just called Mark and told him she wants to try a seperation. Things are really starting to hit the fan, both Lynn and Maita are insanely protective and bossy.
